Padua’s 14th-century fresco cycles are a UNESCO world heritage site
The city has been awarded its second UNESCO World Heritage seal for “Padua Urbs picta”. Giotto, the Scrovegni Chapel and Fourteenth-Century Painting Cycles”: these precious fresco cycles are found at eight sites in the city.
Thirteen kilometers of porticoes make it possible to stroll around the city in any weather conditions and move freely between the Scrovegni Chapel, the University and the Basilica del Santo until you reach the Botanical Gardens.
